Frequently asked questions
Answers to common questions about Talent on Display for athletes, parents, and sports professionals.
General
What is Talent on Display?
Talent on Display (TOD) is a sports profile and discovery platform. Athletes create profiles where they can upload highlight videos, add performance stats, list achievements, and describe their goals. Coaches, scouts, organizations, academies, and other sports professionals use the platform to find and evaluate talent — all in one place.
Who can join?
Any athlete of any age, level, and sport can create a profile. Sports professionals — including coaches, scouts, agents, organizations, and academies — can also create accounts to discover talent. Professional accounts go through a review process before gaining full access.
Is it free to use?
Creating an athlete profile is free. If paid tiers or premium features are introduced in the future, existing users will be notified in advance.
What sports does Talent on Display support?
TOD supports a wide range of sports. Athletes can specify their sport and position during profile setup. If your sport is not listed, contact us and we will look at adding it.

What can I put on my profile?
Your profile can include highlight videos, performance stats, achievements, awards, your sport and position, club or team affiliations, and a description of your goals. Keep it professional and sports-focused. See what to avoid sharing →
Who can see my profile?
Athlete profiles are publicly visible so that coaches, scouts, and sports professionals can discover talent. You control what information appears on your profile — review and update it at any time through your account settings.
How do coaches and scouts find me?
Professionals use the search and explore features to find athletes by sport, position, location, and other criteria. A complete, up-to-date profile with highlight videos improves your chances of being discovered.
Can I remove videos or delete my account?
Yes. You can remove any video, post, or photo from your profile at any time through your account settings. You can also delete your whole account in Settings → Delete account, or with the account deletion form on our contact page. We confirm the request by email, and the account is deleted after 30 days; logging in before then cancels it.
Parents & guardians
Is there a minimum age requirement?
There is no strict minimum age for athlete profiles. However, for athletes under 18, we strongly encourage parents and guardians to review the profile setup, privacy settings, and communication together. Visit the For Parents page for detailed guidance.
Can I review and manage my child's profile?
Yes. We encourage parents and guardians to review their athlete's profile together, check what information is visible, and discuss safe communication practices. Athletes can update or remove any information from their profile at any time.
How do I request content removal or account deletion for my child?
Submit a parental removal request by emailing info@todtalents.com. You will need to provide your relationship to the athlete and the account details. We handle these requests promptly.
Are coaches and scouts verified before they can contact athletes?
Yes. Sports professionals must be reviewed and approved by our team before gaining access to athlete profiles and messaging. We are also building additional verification layers to further strengthen this process. If you encounter a suspicious professional account, report it immediately.
Coaches & organizations
How do I find athletes?
Use the search and explore features to filter athletes by sport, position, location, age group, and other attributes. You can save profiles to review later. A professional account must be approved before accessing full athlete profiles and messaging.
What are the rules for contacting athletes?
All messages must be sports-related, respectful, and appropriate. You must not pressure athletes, request unnecessary personal information, make misleading promises about opportunities, or continue contact after an athlete has expressed disinterest. Full conduct rules are on the Community Guidelines page.
How does professional account verification work?
When you create a professional account, our team reviews your details before granting full access. This step helps ensure athletes are only contacted by legitimate, accountable parties. We are building additional layers of verification over time.
Safety
How do I report a concern?
Go to the Contact page and select "Report a Concern". Choose the type of concern, describe what happened, and submit. You can also report directly from profiles, messages, and content within the platform.
What happens after I submit a report?
Our team reviews every report. We take appropriate action — which may include removing content, restricting accounts, or permanently suspending accounts for serious violations. Due to privacy reasons we may not always be able to share the outcome of a specific report.
What if someone is in immediate danger?
Talent on Display is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a trusted authority first. After that, you can report the situation to our team as well.
